I think I forget adults are people too.
That they sometimes have a cry too. That they don’t always know. That they’ve done the things we think we’re hiding from them. That they’ve lived this entire life even before we ever existed. That they’re not invincible. That they can be fragile too. But it seems only children are labelled with a “fragile: handle with care” sign. So, we forget that adults are people too.
