Started with a sunrise and no sleep.

Felt different.
Woke up early a lot more
Wrote a-lot.
Cherished high school.
Found art that made me feel alive.
Went to too many parties.
Did some bad things.
Spent all my money on coffee
Fell in love with Australia.
Yet thought about travelling a-lot.
Made some lists about where to go.
The Secret History by Donna Tartt changed my life.
It made me want to write. To learn Greek. To move away.
Rekindled my love of reading.
Bought too many books.
Bought a bookshelf.
Met some amazing people who I want to know forever and ever.
At the same time, loved the feeling of the temporary.
The ephemeral.
That everything will move on.
Watched Skins for the third time.
Grew my hair out,
Danced,
Spent a lot of time on Tumblr,
Sang Irish folk songs in three part harmony,
Sent a text from a payphone,
Ate many, many soft boiled eggs,
Used the notes app prolifically,
Wrote so many haikus.
It was the year of the haiku.
