Horoscopes Don’t Matter Right Now

This was meant to be my June Horoscopes issue but fuck that.
I’m convinced that when I was born, I came into the world feeling anger, some sort of resentment. I’ve always been reluctant to post what I really think because I think a lot. But I need to trust my feelings, because I feel strongly. I have a headache from all the screaming my mind is doing. I keep crying, thinking about the amount of courage I feel exuding from all of these people, literally fighting for their lives. Everything is awake. The injustice I feel in my nerves is unlike anything else. And I’m white. What the fuck. I’m crying again, talking to myself and wondering, “if I feel this way, how the fuck do they feel?”. It’s finally at a tipping point. One that has been simmering away for a very, very long time. A time, that if you have been paying attention, you have been waiting for. If you feel shocked right now, I don’t feel sorry for you. You should know better.
I will always remember hopping off the plane at JFK last year, I had never felt a stronger sense of patriotism in the air before. It reeked of “pride” but it was all so suffocating. I kept thinking, “what is it that you are so proud of?”. The system is unfair right down to the core. It’s evil. I hate it. It’s everywhere, no matter where you go in the world. But I’m proud of everyone that continues to wake up.
I advise you to donate, and help bail out protestors that are being arrested and left with a hefty bail. They still think they can stop us with their ridiculously unfair bills and laws. I want you to understand the outrage. I want you to support the outrage. You know what to do. Socialism is empathy and justice.
