Pretty pictures in my mind

The more I think, the less I know. Thinking of you, thinking of me, thinking of you thinking of me. I paint pretty pictures in my mind. Gorgeous pictures where I make you laugh, or pictures where you desire me. These pictures see potential not facts. They glamourise the cruelty. They try to convince me of all types of things. Bees are butterfly’s and salt is sugar. They cover the flaws and defects of situations.

Although beautiful their utterly dysfunctional. I thought I knew, I thought everything was fine, however now these pretty pictures fade and I’m left with harsh reality. Letting go of things I never truly had, seeing emotions for what they truly are. Trust ur gut, not your mind. next time I paint pictures I’ll make this picture bubbles more real. I’ll make myself laugh. I will desire myself.
