Tea With You Two

To you two,

I’ve known you each for nine months, almost like carrying a child through pregnancy. Our bond emerged quickly and I could never love anyone else as much as I love you two right now. It pains me everyday to wake up without you two within 100 metres from me. It was easier to wake up each morning when I could walk to your door.

A year ago I was dumb and stupid and didn’t know what I was doing. And now? I’m dumb and stupid and don’t really know what I’m doing but I have slightly more money and actually love myself. I dream of waking up with you in the next room and drinking wine into the night while laughing at each other.

It’s only a few months until we’re reunited. Even though there is hundreds of miles between us, I feel more love from you two than anyone else. I’ll always treasure that. Three months living with you guys and I loved myself more than ever because I was surrounded by so much love. I could see worth in myself through your eyes. No doubt was felt. You guys give me hope for my future and I’d love for you to be in it.

To be honest, this doesn’t explain all the love I have for you guys. Just know that you fill my heart
