insecurity to me is the most disastrous chapter in everyone’s book. Mine sulked in the corner of my brain brooding: “Will my acne decide to take a vacation away from my skin forever? Will my coffee colored eyes ever be as mesmerizing if they mimicked the sky?” That type of insecurity ate my dignity. But at 19 years old, fresh out of high school, I have come to realize, knowing that I am good enough for myself – that is what lands the cherry on top in accepting self-worth.
