The internet is trash

I like the person I am becoming
She’s strong and kind
She talks to strangers and goes shopping alone
She sings more and still cares; but not as much about the things she used to
She gets less likes when she’s being herself and not plastering her face in every corner of the Internet. It’s lonely and liberating and I don’t think she’d change it for anything.
You made me feel like I had to scream to be heard, change to be seen. I’m glad I gave up on both, I like the person I’m becoming.
