Static noise

Creation and clarity is born from boredom
When the mind is quiet, a static noise of sorts
The filter becomes larger – large enough for profound thoughts, ideas and revelations to pop through as they please

I came to Cuba
Revolutionary thoughts swirling through my brain
No internet, on the beach for days with nothing but a bag of peanuts and a book
No distractions

When I’m bored I watch tv, clean my room, do my homework, run unnecessary errands
And those thoughts are stuck
Waiting behind the filter of my mind
Until there is some space for them to come through
